Setup for Fire TV/Google TV Devices.
Setting up your TV is fairly straightforward, however we appreciate that some people are less technically minded as others, so this is the simplest way available to get Equinox onto your chosen device. Please note that the method of installing the app is the same for both platforms, however activating developer options varies.Below are FOUR steps that need to be followed in order to access Equinox content...Step OneAbove this text are some buttons that will link you to external guides, providing step-by-step instructions on how to access developer options and install the Downloader App on your device.- If you have a Fire TV device (Fire TV, Fire Cube or Fire TV Stick), click the Fire TV link.- If you have a Google TV device (Android TV or Google Chromecast with Google TV), click the Google TV link.Step TwoOnce you have the Downloader App installed, load the app and you will be presented with a URL bar in the centre of the screen. Click in this text box and you will be presented with your on-screen keyboard, now you are to enter the following link:bit.ly/neptuneeqxThe Neptune by EQX. app will now download onto your device.Step ThreeThroughout the installation of the application, you will be asked to allow permissions on your device. Simply follow the instructions and prompts provided, and ensure all permissions are accepted/allowed. Failure to do this will result in the app malfunctioning and not working correctly.Step FourOnce the app is successfully installed, navigate to your apps on your device and load the app named Neptune by EQX.. You will now need to login to the app with your username and password provided. Setup for Mobile Devices.
In order to access Equinox on your mobile device (phone or tablet), you will need to get a different app to the one you use on TV.AndroidIf you have an Android device i.e. Samsung, Google, Oppo, Huawei, OnePlus etc. you will be able to click the Android button above this text and you will be linked directly to the installation file for the mobile app.
Install the app, ensuring that you accept all permission requests from the Android system.
Once installed, simply open the app, enter the Server Number: 5999 and login with your Equinox username/password.Apple/iOSIf you have an Apple device i.e. iPhone, iPad, Mac or MacBook you will be able to click the Apple/iOS button above this text and you will be linked directly to the installation for the mobile app.
